TRAVELBUCKET

MY BOOKS BUCKET

I always take a book or two on my travels as you never know where you get stuck and have to wait a couple of hours.  And yes, I do prefer a book rather than all the electronic e-readers that are available on the market.  The reason?  It is dust proof and never needs charging – it is simply always available and exchangeable for a new read anywhere on the globe.  Well, maybe I am a bit old fashioned but I like a book!

Some of the books that I enjoyed to read were:

  • Babylon’s Ark – Lawrence Anthony
  • The night of the knives – Jon Evans
  • The last Resort – Douglas Rogers
  • The cloud garden – Tom Hart Dyke & Paul Winder
  • The Man-Eaters of Tsavo – John Henry Patterson
  • The Last Rhinos – Lawrence Anthony
  • Long Way Down – Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman
  • The Lost Boy – Aher Arop Bol
  • Mulberry Forest (Moerbei Bos) – Dalene Matthee
