As I am sitting behind my computer writing this I am missing Sudan.\u00a0\u00a0 Yes, Sudan! Hubby was stationed there for about three years and I was fortunate enough to visit Khartoum four times.\u00a0 As you approach from a southerly direction you get a glimpse of the White Nile embracing the sprawling city when peeking through the aeroplane\u2019s window.\u00a0 The below video that I found on Youtube of a Qatar flight approaching the airport is exactly what I saw on my first visit!<\/p>\n
